I was introduced to Ralph at Icon through a friend. The credentials were good – years and years of industry experience, and many completed projects under his belt. Being my first major building project, Ralph walked me through each step – from design to completion, ticking off council approvals and certification along the way, with a minimum of fuss. The build was completed on time and on budget – Ralph’s industry knowledge and contacts ended up saving us money along the way. His boys, Joe, Frank and Mark, were a pleasure to work with. Efficiency was gained by having them on site not only supervising the project, but doing a lot of work themselves. This meant that subcontractors didn’t need to be called in for minor tasks, resulting in cost savings to me. The time they took in explaining the various aspects was greatly appreciated, as was their willingness to work through any issues that arose, presenting options and solutions rather than problems. And they were patient with me! Without fuss, they moved a stud wall 3 times, to maximise the useable space in one of the rooms, whilst maintaining every millimetre of mandatory space in the adjacent bathroom. Since my build was completed in 2010, Icon has done some minor renovations at home, again on time, without fuss. I’ve recommended Icon to friends, who share similar positive experiences; I surprise myself sometimes when I say that I’m looking forward to my next building project, which is due in great part to the opportunity to work with Ralph and the boys from Icon once again.

I was first introduced to Icon Building & Construction during the initial build phase of the Worrigee Shopping Centre in early 2019. I had secured the lease for the 1300m2 Supermarket and Liquor store.

Frank and his brothers provided a quote for overseeing the fit out of the Supermarket and liquor. I had never started a business from build to open so having Icon take that out of my hands was a relief. I found the quote acceptable for the work required.

During the final build and fit out of the premises Frank kept me informed of the timelines and any outstanding issues. He provided great advice when unforeseen problems occurred. Now 2 years on the build of the Shopping Centre and Supermarket is fantastic!

I highly recommend Icon. I completed my first shop fit out recently and the entire process was amazing. Frank was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Everything I asked for was not a problem for the Icon team. My design for the space was completed exactly as I had hoped and well within the timeframe. We have another project planned and we will only use Icon!
